Grace Potter and The Nocturnals, a band truly rooted in the groovy 70s.  Every show I've seen of their's was like a blast from the past.  Grace's raspy vocals mixed with the talent from the nocturnal boys creates an amazing mix.  This song, Hot Summer Night, is one of their more upbeat fun songs, give my girl Grace some love.

River Whyless, a band out of Asheville N.C. gives such an amazing live show.  I got to see the group two Friday nights ago when they opened for The Holy Ghost Tent Revival at the Lincoln Theater here in Raleigh, NC.  River Whyless has a folk, bluegrass sound with a little twist of Indie.  The vocals are breathtaking from both Ryan O'Keefe and Halli Anderson. Halli also brings a gorgeous fiddle to the scene, an instrument that seems to have been lost with time.  The percussive sounds found throughout their latest album shows the band's unique sound and personality.  Enjoy, River Whyless.
